Visit Greenland
Client need
Visit Greenland hosted the Cruise Forum 2024 to discuss the growing cruise industry and its impact on Greenlandic tourism. The event brought together key stakeholders and sought an engaging way to capture the discussions and communicate how regions across Greenland manage destination development and tourism efforts.
Solution
I was commissioned to create a remote live graphic recording during the event, visually capturing the key themes, insights, and ideas that emerged from the discussions. In addition to the live recording, I visualized how Greenland’s regions work with destination management and tourism.
To enhance accessibility, both the graphic recording and the regional overview were made in Danish and Greenlandic to ensure they could be easily shared and understood by all.
Results
The graphic recordings were well-received by participants, offering a clear, engaging summary of the key takeaways. By visually representing how each region manages tourism, the illustrations helped stakeholders grasp strategies at a glance. The dual-language versions ensured that these insights could be effectively disseminated to Danish-speaking and Greenlandic-speaking audiences.
