ROCKWOOL Department illustration

Client need

ROCKWOOL’s Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) department wanted to explore and communicate its core tasks and the value it brings to the company. Rather than relying on traditional PowerPoint slides, it sought a more dynamic and engaging way to present itself, fostering a deeper understanding within the team and effectively showcasing its department’s impact to stakeholders.

Solution

During a team off-site session, I collaborated with the SHE department to guide them through a creative exercise aimed at capturing the essence of their work. Together, we developed a unique visual metaphor—a snow globe with an umbrella—to represent their role in safeguarding the company. This metaphor served as the foundation for an illustration that depicted the department’s contributions and value.

Results

The result was a powerful and engaging illustration that not only brought the team’s insights to life but also provided them with a unique presentation tool.

The creative process itself fostered a deeper understanding within the team, enhancing their connection to the department’s mission. The final illustration conveyed the dynamics and value of the SHE department, making a significant impact during the presentation and beyond.
