My background is in consulting, executive support and project management in the pharmaceutical industry, biotech and shipping.
The common threads throughout my career have been innovation, sustainability, process optimization, change management – and VISUALIZATIONS.
I have a Master of Science in Innovation Management from the Technical University of Denmark. In addition, I have studied at the University of Tokyo and the Royal Academy (Industrial Design).
This is how it all began
In 2020, I founded Penorama after a consultancy asked if I could help visualize their future vision. That initial project quickly led to more opportunities, and Penorama was born. But the truth is, Penorama’s story started long before that.
Since I was young, drawing has been my go-to way of expressing myself. I struggled to keep up with the technical, complex topics when I began my engineering studies. So, I turned to what I knew best—drawing. By creating visual notes, I could break down complex concepts, making them easier to remember and more enjoyable to study. It became my secret weapon, helping me pass university with good results.
As I moved into my professional career in project management, consulting, and as an executive assistant, I noticed a recurring problem: internal communication was often text-heavy and overly complex, making it difficult to capture attention and convey key messages. I saw firsthand how important it was to simplify communication, especially when driving change and gathering buy-in.
I started experimenting with visual summaries, illustrations, and animations to simplify these complex messages. The impact was immediate – ideas that once struggled to be understood now resonated with their audience. It became clear that there was a powerful connection between technical knowledge, visual communication, and compelling storytelling.
This realization led me to start Penorama. I wanted to help more companies overcome communication challenges. At Penorama, I now combine my passion for drawing with my professional experience to help businesses simplify their messages and create compelling visual narratives.
It's not just about making things look good - it's about ensuring they are understood, remembered, and acted upon.
